THE SKAGIT VALLEY FLYERS LACROSSE PROGRAM OFFERS GRADES K-12 AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE INTRODUCED AND TAUGHT AN AMAZING SPORT. WE OFFER BOYS, GIRLS, AND COED PROGRAMS.

THE INSTRUCTIONAL EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON LEARNING STICK SKILLS, GAME FUNDAMENTALS, GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, WHAT IT MEANS TO BE PART OF A TEAM BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY -RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, HONOR AND ALWAYS SHOWING UP TO PARTICIPATE WITH 100% EFFORT AT ALL TIMES!!!

SVFLC Job Posting-Varsity Head & Assistant Coaches:

Skagit Valley Flyers Lacrosse Club is growing rapidly and is looking for Head and Assistant coaches for Varsity/JV teams in Burlington and Sedro-Woolley. The ideal candidate will have lacrosse experience, with preference given to college/club experience. Coaches are expected to plan and run daily practices and perform coaching duties during games and tournaments. Practices take place at both Sedro-Woolley HS (turf) and Allen Fields (grass: Bow, WA) with home games played at SWHS. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic coaches to help develop our players and promote our club mission. There is a coach stipend dependent on experience. All coaches must pass a mandatory background check and complete WHSBLA coaching requirements, with all mandatory fees reimbursed by the club. SVFLC Job Posting- Boys’ and Girls’ Youth Coaches:

Skagit Valley Flyers Lacrosse Club is growing rapidly and is looking for youth coaches for grades 3rd-8th for both boys’ and girls’ teams. The ideal candidate will have coaching experience, with lacrosse playing experience preferred, but not required. Coaches are expected to plan and run daily practices and perform coaching duties during games and tournaments. Practices take place based on coaches’ preference.  We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic coaches to help develop our players and promote our club mission. All coaches must pass a mandatory background check and hold US Lacrosse membership, complete US Lacrosse Level 1 course, PCA online course & first aid/concussion training, with all mandatory fees reimbursed by the club. Summer Wall Ball Challenge

Summer Wall Ball Challenge

 

In order to encourage our players to keep their sticks in their hands over the summer, the Club is going to hold a Wall Ball Challenge.  This challenge will run for 8 weeks, beginning on June 26, 2017.  The challenge will conclude on August 18, 2017.

The competition will be divided into 2 phases with prizes distributed at the end of each phase.  Prizes will be awarded at the following age groups, Girls U11, Girls U13, Boys 3rd/4th, Boys 5th/6th, Boys 7th/8th, and Boys High School.  The player with the highest number of reps in each age group will be awarded a prize at the conclusion of each phase.  In addition to the Phase 1 and Phase 2 prizes, the three players with the highest numer of repetitions for entire contest will win an overall prize.

 

Prizes:

  • Phase 1 and Phase 2 winners in each age division will receive AMC gift cards

  • Overall 3rd Place winner will receive a $25 I-Tunes gift card

  • Overall 2nd Place winner will receive a $25 I-Tunes gift card

  • Overall 1st Place winner will receive a $50 Amazon gift card
