THE SKAGIT VALLEY FLYERS LACROSSE PROGRAM OFFERS GRADES K-12 AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE INTRODUCED AND TAUGHT AN AMAZING SPORT. WE OFFER BOYS, GIRLS, AND COED PROGRAMS.

THE INSTRUCTIONAL EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON LEARNING STICK SKILLS, GAME FUNDAMENTALS, GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, WHAT IT MEANS TO BE PART OF A TEAM BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY -RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, HONOR AND ALWAYS SHOWING UP TO PARTICIPATE WITH 100% EFFORT AT ALL TIMES!!! 

A CHAMPION IS SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT SETTLE FOR THAT DAY'S PRACTICE, THAT DAY'S COMPETITION, THAT DAY'S PERFORMANCE. THEY ARE ALWAYS STRIVING TO BE BETTER.

2018 Loggerodeo Parade

Hello Flyers,

Are you reLAXin’ this summer?  Need a break from video games?  Grab your stick and check these opportunities out!

July 4th:  Great parade today!  Thanks to all of you who came out to celebrate our club and promote lacrosse in the valley.

July 7th & 8th:  This weekend at Skagit River Park the Pacific Open is being held.  Several SVFL players will be playing in games with the summer club Time Bandits.  Come on out and watch some great lacrosse and support your buddies.   HS is scheduled for 9:00am, 11:00am & 3:00pm while boy’s youth is at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm.  Also Play It Again Sports will be there if you need to get some gear and don’t want to drive to Marysville.

July 11th, 18th & 25th: 
Summer Pick Up:  All 2018 Flyers – both boys and girls are welcome to come out.  Coaches will work with you on your skills with some drills and scrimmages. This will be a great time to meet up with your lax buddies and get a few reps in.  This will be held at Allen Playfields, 9101 Avon Allen Road, Bow, WA  98232 on Wednesdays, July 11th, 18th & 25th 5:00pm to 6:00pm.  You are welcome to attend as many as you can.  We know that summer is a busy time with vacations and family time.  There are no cost or registration requirements.  Just show up with your gear and be ready to have fun.  Since this is only an hour block of time, come early to get geared up to be ready to start at 5:00pm.

CitySideLax Camp (both boys & girls):  July 23rd – 26th, 9:00am to 1:00pm in Whatcom County

Defy Athletix Shooting Immersion (boys only) or Goalie Immersion (boys & girls):  July 31st & August 1st, 9:00am – Noon in Bellingham or August 2nd & 3rd, 9:00am-Noon in Mukilteo.  See their website:  www.defyathletix.com

Fall New Player Clinics:

The club will be hosting new player clinics for your friends who are interested in giving lacrosse a try.  The clinics will be held Sundays, September 9th, 16th & 23rd from Noon to 1:00pm at Allen Playfields.  Gear will be provided.  Please share the New Player Clinic information with everyone you know. Encourage your friends to show up and check it out, no registration required.  Each clinic will include different games and activities.  Participants may attend as many as they wish.

Come on out and give lacrosse a try.  These clinics are instructed by our experienced team of coaches and will include an introduction to the basics of the sport.  Feel free to attend as many clinics as you like.  Each one will include different games and activities.
